Maintenance and support

Maintenance of existing systems

We keep IT systems running – monitoring them, resolving incidents, optimising performance and running migrations. We also take over the maintenance of solutions previously built by other vendors.

Scope

What maintenance covers

  • Monitoring and security

Continuous oversight of how the system runs, with a defined response time for incidents (SLA). We use continuous information-security monitoring tools, so the systems report detected vulnerabilities on an ongoing basis.

  • Backups and recovery

Regular backups and tested procedures for restoring data and services.

  • Incident resolution and tuning

Diagnosing problems, fixes and performance tuning of applications and databases.

  • Migrations and upgrades

Safe transitions to new versions of platforms, libraries and environments.

Taking over maintenance

We take over systems from other vendors

We can take over the care of a system we did not build. We start with an audit of the solution – learning its architecture, code and configuration, identifying risks, and then agreeing the scope of support and SLA terms.

We maintain both portals based on Liferay Portal and bespoke Java systems, along with their supporting infrastructure.
